Professor Erica Fine helped found the auction 27 years ago, and personally funded multiple summer public interest fellowships. The students who received these started unofficially calling themselves "the Fine Fellows" a few years ago. This year, for every $6,000 donated here, the Public Interest Center will be able to name an additional 2022 Fine Fellow. Thanks to the generosity of the law school deans, Professor Ruescher, and Professor Paras we will already be able to name one 2022 Fine Fellow.
